About the Role

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Event & Office Manager to join the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (SwedCham). In this role, you will play an essential part in both our day-to-day operations and our continued development. You will be a key player in a small, dedicated team that supports a thriving and growing chamber. You will report to the SwedCham General Manager and work closely with the board, our members, and various stakeholders.

Start Date

The position will commence on Monday 15 September 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination

  • Contribute to the planning and development of SwedCham’s annual event calendar
  • Handle all aspects of event execution: invitations, budgets, participant lists, logistics, catering, and on-site coordination

 Office Administration

  • Manage book keeping with precision using Xero
  • Act as liaison with auditors, overseeing administrative processes during audit periods
  • Provide admin support in coordinating board meetings and maintaining effective communication with SwedCham's Board of Directors and other important stakeholders
  • Coordinate member communication through newsletters, invitations, and other platforms
  • Keep SwedCham’s member database and contact lists accurate and up to date
  • Oversee SwedCham’s CRM system (GlueUp) and website
  • Assist with content writing and digital engagement via our websiteLinkedIn, and Facebook.

Who We Are Looking For

You are a self-starter who enjoys variety in your work and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. You thrive in a team environment but are equally comfortable working independently. Flexibility and a hands-on mindset are essential - especially around events, when longer hours may occasionally be required.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in bookkeeping - knowledge of Xero a strong advantage
  • Prior corporate or administrative experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Knowledge of the Swedish business culture is a strong advantage
  • Experience with GlueUp (or other CRM systems) is a plus
  • Singapore PR status is a plus, but not required. However, you need to be a legal resident of Singapore to apply for this job.
