SwedCham Singapore, together with its People and Culture Committee, invites all members to a seminar focusing on strategies for foreign talent acquisition on the Singaporean market. 

The quest for finding and retaining core competence is an evergreen topic for businesses. In Singapore however, there is a multitude of factors related to foreign worker quotas and regulations around work permits that need to be taken into consideration before employment can even be considered. How do international businesses deal with these challenges? What measures can be taken to ensure companies are fueled with the talents they need to succeed?

The panalists

Mr Mishra, Head of Talent Management at Ericsson in Asia, will share Ericsson’s experience from being on the MoM watchlist last year, managing to move out of the list before the end of the year.

On top of his Talent Management role, Mr Mishra holds the position as Head of HR for Ericsson’s Singapore and Brunei operations.

Ms Isabelle Larche

isabelle-larcheMs Larche is the co-founder and Director of Timeo-Performance and Akteos Asia (Executive Search, Training and HR Consultancy for APAC). She will share the lessons learned from her 10 years of recruitment experience for international and local clients.

Ms Larche is the Vice President of the French Chamber of Commerce and Trade Counsellor (Singapore Chapter) to the French Embassy. Ms Larche is also a well renowned and frequently published author to news articles about the Talent Management industry.

Mr Mark Amatya
Mr Amatya, Global Mobility Director with PwC, will provide insights from his over 10 years’ of experience from coordinating the delivery of compliance and advisory services across the region to some of PwC’s largest global engagements.

Mark has also lead projects assisting SMEs and MNCs to manage people working internationally through designing governance frameworks; crafting suitable contracts and other supporting documentation; designing compensation strategies and negotiating rulings from local tax/social security authorities.


Ms Emmemma-noguchia Noguchi
Ms Noguchi, Director at Mercury Urval, is a frequently appointed moderator and panellist at high level Human Capital events. As a Director and Team Leader at Mercuri Urval Asia, Emma leads a team of consultants that provides Human Capital Consulting, Executive Search, Assessments and Coaching services to various multinationals across the Asia-Pacific.

These and more questions will be addressed during a panel discussion on February 27. The panelists will share their perspectives, experiences and not the least advise on how to navigate the Singaporean human resource landscape.
